Junior Java Software Engineer – Capital Markets IT

About the role
Join the Capital Markets IT division of Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore as a Junior Java Software Engineer. You will work on in‑house applications that support trading, risk management and market data across the bank’s global network.
Key responsibilities
- Research, design, develop and maintain Java‑based software and specialised utility programs.
- Analyse user requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that have organisation‑wide impact.
- Perform initial threat modelling and ensure code complies with security standards.
- Maintain software configuration management plans and oversee release builds, verification and implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to quality testing teams.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong aptitude for programming.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
Required skills
- Java programming language.
- Experience or familiarity with APIs.
- Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms.
- Exposure to big data technologies.
- Software configuration management practices.
