Junior Java Software Engineer – Capital Markets IT

About the role

Join the Capital Markets IT division of Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore as a Junior Java Software Engineer. You will work on in‑house applications that support trading, risk management and market data across the bank’s global network.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, develop and maintain Java‑based software and specialised utility programs.
• Analyse user requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that have organisation‑wide impact.
• Perform initial threat modelling and ensure code complies with security standards.
• Maintain software configuration management plans and oversee release builds, verification and implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to quality testing teams.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong aptitude for programming.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Java programming language.
