Key Account Sales Manager

About the role

The Key Account Sales Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with a defined portfolio of CSI/MNC and SC customers in a specific sector. Acting as the primary contact, you will drive business development, secure new strategic customers, and ensure alignment with global and regional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with assigned key accounts, coordinating trade lane involvement and service delivery.
• Prospect and win new strategic customers, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Prepare and submit RFI/RFP/RFQ documentation, ensuring smooth operational hand‑over and compliance with SLA and SOP standards.
• Maintain accurate sales records, produce regular reports and analyses of sales activities.
• Collaborate with CRM teams on account planning, business reviews and solution consulting.
• Gather market and customer insights to inform product and trade lane strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in freight forwarding or international transportation services.
• Proven track record of growing business through customised RFQ solutions.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding industry trends and sector dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
