Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to oversee food preparation, cooking operations, and team performance across our island‑wide outlets. You will ensure high‑quality meals, strict food safety standards, and smooth daily kitchen workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, mincing, mixing and seasoning.
• Execute hot‑meal cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying and broiling.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls, proper labeling, dating and stock rotation.
• Contribute to daily, holiday and themed menus in collaboration with senior staff.
• Keep kitchen equipment, storage areas and workstations clean and sanitized.
• Handle customer feedback, resolve complaints and implement feasible suggestions.
• Develop new menu items and improvise existing dishes, with a focus on North Indian cuisine.
• Manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budget limits.
• Supervise a team, ensure shift coverage and enforce health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and HACCP compliance.
• Competence in cooking North Indian dishes.
