Lead AVEVA PI Engineer – Data Integration Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AVEVA PI Engineer to work directly with end‑user clients, delivering cutting‑edge data integration solutions built on the AVEVA PI platform and complementary analytics tools. The role combines technical design, implementation, and client‑facing activities to drive digital transformation across manufacturing and pharmaceutical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define AVEVA PI architecture from automation level through PI interfaces to central PI server and applications.
• Design, configure, commission, and qualify digital transformation platforms and data integration solutions.
• Lead AVEVA PI upgrades, migrations, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
• Provide sales and technical guidance by proposing detailed architectures for AVEVA PI‑focused projects.
• Collaborate with customers to capture functional requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in MES/Historian development and deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Motivated self‑starter able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
• Interest or experience in pharmaceutical & biologics GMP processes (e.g., computer systems validation).
