Lead Tax Analyst

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Lead Tax Analyst to join its Group Tax & Customs function. You will work closely with internal finance teams and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Review and file corporate tax, withholding tax, and transfer‑pricing compliance returns.
• Ensure timely tax payments and prepare tax payment forecasts for the Treasury team.
• Collaborate with the global outsourcer to produce tax provisions for statutory accounts.
• Validate tax disclosure notes in local statutory accounts.
• Monitor inter‑company loan positions, manage thin‑capitalisation issues, and obtain treaty clearances for reduced withholding tax rates.
• Conduct dividend repatriation reviews and generate required paperwork.
• Manage local tax audits in line with group policies.
• Support business initiatives by assessing tax implications and coordinating system changes with IT.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate tax, withholding tax and transfer‑pricing principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation to diverse business models.
• Experience working with finance teams, external advisors and tax outsourcers.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
