Lecturer – Accountancy (2-year contract)

About the role

This is a two‑year fixed‑term appointment as a Lecturer in Accountancy within the School of Business & Accountancy. The role involves teaching, curriculum development and industry engagement for both full‑time and part‑time programmes as well as adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver accounting curricula, including online courses and assessments.
• Supervise student projects, internships and industry‑partner collaborations.
• Provide mentorship, career guidance and competition coaching to students.
• Participate in academic administration, committee work and outreach activities.
• Lead and manage industry‑sponsored projects and research initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience in accounting or related fields.
• Prior teaching experience (part‑time or full‑time) is advantageous.
• Passion for teaching diverse learners and ability to use innovative pedagogical methods.
• Agile, adaptable and capable of multitasking both independently and within a team.
