Lecturer – Continuing Education Business Courses

About the role

The School of Business is seeking an experienced lecturer to deliver Continuing Education Training (CET) programmes for adult learners. You will design, develop and teach business‑related subjects on weekday evenings or weekends, supporting professional development across a range of disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Teach relevant subjects in CET programmes covering Business, Management, Marketing, HR, Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Digital Business, AI, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
• Design and develop course materials and curriculum for the above subjects.
• Deliver scheduled classes to adult learners and participate in assessment activities.
• Act as Programme Coordinator for CET modules when required.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification in Business, Management, Marketing, HR, Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Digital Business, AI, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of industry experience in one or more business domains such as marketing, digital transformation, HR, finance, accounting, operations, sustainability, entrepreneurship, or organisational development.
• TAE Workforce Skills Qualification certifications (e.g., ACLP, ACTA, DACE) are advantageous.
• Passion for adult learning and ability to engage diverse working professionals.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisational and classroom facilitation skills with a learner‑centric approach.
• Proficiency with digital learning technologies, productivity tools and online collaboration platforms.
• Prior experience in curriculum development, training delivery, coaching, mentoring, consultancy or industry projects is a plus.
