Lecturer – Course Management in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering

About the role

The School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering seeks a dynamic Lecturer to join its Course Management group. The role blends teaching, curriculum development, and industry partnership to enrich diploma programmes and promote sustainability engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for diploma courses and overall school operations.
• Collaborate with industry partners to organise field trips, student‑industry projects, internships, and overseas programmes.
• Design and deliver full‑time and part‑time modules that are relevant to industry needs.
• Inspire and guide students through effective learning activities and serve as a personal tutor.
• Coordinate outreach activities and promote continuing education training programmes.

Required profile

• Relevant work experience in Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Aided Machining, Machining Processes, or Sustainability Development.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑driven, independent team player with a passion for education and mentorship.
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Precision, or Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on CAD/CAM and machining.
