Lecturer - IT Systems & Networks

About the role

As a Lecturer in IT Systems & Networks, you will deliver engaging classroom instruction and guide students through hands‑on lab work, capstone projects and applied learning activities. You will also stay current with industry trends by undertaking consultancy or industry projects and maintaining strong links with partners.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate learning in networking, operating systems, cloud, automation and related subjects.
• Design and supervise authentic lab sessions, capstone projects and applied learning activities.
• Conduct industry or consultancy projects to keep skills up‑to‑date.
• Maintain and develop relationships with industry partners and schools.
• Participate in regular industry attachments to refresh professional practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge in at least two of the listed technical domains (networking, OS, automation, cloud, software development, AI‑enabled operations).
• Relevant industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP or AWS/Azure fundamentals.
• Passion for teaching, strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Routers, switches, network automation, 5G, Wi‑Fi 6.
• Windows Server, Linux operating systems.
• Python scripting, API integration.
• AWS, Azure, VMware, open‑source virtualization platforms.
• Web and mobile application development, RPA.
• Analytics and AI techniques for infrastructure performance.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure cloud fundamentals.
