Lecturer – Lifeskills (2‑Year Contract)

About the role

ITE College East is seeking a Lecturer to deliver Lifeskills modules over a two‑year fixed‑term contract. The role goes beyond classroom teaching to nurture students’ soft‑skill development and lifelong learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons on communication, interpersonal effectiveness, problem‑solving and customer service.
• Lead industry or consultancy projects that keep the curriculum aligned with current professional practices.
• Maintain strong linkages with industry partners and schools, arranging regular industry attachments for students.
• Mentor and coach students, supporting their personal and professional growth.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant insights into teaching.

Required profile

• Passion for working with youth and facilitating soft‑skill acquisition.
• Effective communicator with at least three years of relevant work experience.
• Interest in entrepreneurship, character education, and coaching/mentoring.
• Willingness to pursue career progression toward senior lecturer or leadership roles.

Required skills

• Experience with Generative AI (Gen AI).
• Proficiency in data analytics.
• Knowledge of innovation business solutions.
