Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – DevOps Innovation

About the role

You will serve as a subject‑matter expert in DevOps and related innovation projects, delivering cutting‑edge ICT modules to prepare learners for industry challenges. The position combines curriculum design, hands‑on teaching, and mentorship within the School of Information Technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver ICT‑related modules, including curriculum planning, lesson facilitation and assessments.
• Guide students through applied learning, capstone projects and industry‑relevant assignments.
• Collaborate with industry partners to source real‑world projects, internships and applied learning opportunities.
• Continuously review and update curriculum to reflect emerging technologies and workforce needs.
• Participate in academic, professional and student‑development activities supporting the school’s mission.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, IT operations, solution architecture or technical consultancy.
• Academic or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in applied learning, innovation and continuous professional growth.
• Passion for mentoring youths and young adults and developing future ICT professionals.
