About the role
The School of Business is seeking a dynamic Lecturer to deliver psychology and soft‑skills modules to Pre‑Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students. The role blends teaching, curriculum development, and industry collaboration to enhance student employability and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lectures, tutorials and assessments for psychology and soft‑skills subjects.
- Develop and continuously update curriculum to reflect current trends in employee wellness and soft‑skill development.
- Advisory duties including supervising student clubs, competitions, projects, internships and overseas learning programmes.
- Partner with industry partners to create mental‑wellness projects and support SkillsFuture initiatives.
- Participate in consultancy, pedagogical projects and applied research aligned with school strategy.
Required profile
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in psychology‑related roles and soft‑skill development.
- Proven track record in youth, community or student development (advantageous).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Counselling.
- Demonstrated ability to engage industry on psychology, mental health and soft‑skill topics.
- Strong communication, teamwork and innovative mindset.
