Legal Consultant - Commercial Contracts

About the role

Axiom, a global leader in on‑demand legal talent, is seeking experienced Commercial Legal Consultants to join its network and support multinational organisations with high‑quality commercial contract work.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice and strategic guidance on transactions and business initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
• Facilitate efficient execution of commercial transactions and support broader organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements in an in‑house or private‑practice setting.
• Familiarity with service agreements, IP licensing, software/technology, supply and procurement contracts, and NDAs.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to translate legal considerations into practical business advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and thrive in fast‑paced, complex environments.
