Legal Consultant – LNG

About the role

Axiom is seeking a Legal Consultant to support a Fortune 500 client’s rapidly growing LNG business across Asia. The role involves providing day‑to‑day legal advice on LNG contracting, trading activities, and infrastructure projects in a fast‑paced commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support to LNG supply, trading and infrastructure operations throughout Asia.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of LNG and energy‑related commercial agreements.
• Advise on contractual, commercial and risk matters related to LNG trading, supply, sale, purchase and transportation.
• Support LNG infrastructure and development projects by reviewing and negotiating project documentation.
• Collaborate with commercial, trading, project and other business stakeholders to identify and manage legal and contractual risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years post‑qualification experience in commercial transactions, commodities trading or infrastructure related to LNG.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑directed, capable of taking ownership of matters from start to finish.
