Legal Counsel – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our corporate team in Singapore, providing legal support for global logistics and supply‑chain operations. The role involves advising senior management, drafting contracts and managing legal risk across a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to business units and senior management on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including customer agreements, 3PL, logistics, warehousing, procurement, employment and lease agreements.
• Support the management of legal risks, disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel.
• Liaise with external lawyers and manage legal engagements, instructions, documentation and timelines.
• Provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions, corporate integrations, restructuring and inter‑company agreements.
• Assist with basic legal due diligence and document reviews for strategic projects.
• Monitor compliance with local and international laws covering customs, trade, transport and data privacy.
• Track legal and regulatory developments and deliver practical updates to internal stakeholders.
• Support corporate housekeeping, audit queries and other group‑wide legal matters.
• Prepare materials and provide legal input for management and board‑related meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in Law.
• 2–4 years post‑qualification experience in private practice and/or an in‑house legal environment.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or a related industry is an advantage.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
• Practical, business‑oriented approach to legal issues.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across different cultures and functions.
