Lifting Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a professional Lifting Engineer to join our construction team in Singapore. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing complex lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout each project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed lifting plans, including rigging calculations and lift sequences for complex or tandem lifts.
• Assess environmental conditions such as ground bearing capacity, wind speed limits, and proximity to overhead power lines.
• Select appropriate crane models, boom configurations, and certified lifting gear (slings, shackles, spreader beams) based on load characteristics.
• Coordinate the lifting team, providing clear instructions to the Lifting Supervisor, Signalman, and Crane Operator.
• Enforce safety boundaries by establishing exclusion zones to prevent personnel from entering areas beneath suspended loads.

• Professional level experience in construction lifting operations.
