Lifting Supervisor

About the role

Toll Group, a logistics, transport and supply chain business part of Japan Post, is hiring a Lifting Supervisor. The role supervises and coordinates lifting operations at marine sites and vessels, ensuring they follow approved plans and safety procedures. Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate lifting operations at marine sites and vessels.
• Ensure lifting activities follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-lifting checks and toolbox meetings.
• Ensure cranes, lifting equipment and rigging gear are properly inspected and certified.
• Supervise riggers and crane operators during lifting operations.
• Coordinate with vessel crew, operations teams, contractors and clients.
• Stop unsafe work and report lifting-related incidents or near misses.
• Maintain lifting records and ensure compliance with WSH and marine requirements.

Required profile

• Must be entitled to work in Singapore.
• Prepared to undergo pre-employment checks, including a criminal history check and medical.
• Similar skills and willingness to learn are valued even if past experience does not match perfectly.
