About the role
Woodlands Hospital, part of NHG, is looking for a locum doctor to provide flexible medical coverage during staff shortages, leave periods and peak demand. Locum doctors ensure continuity of patient care while bringing diverse clinical experience to healthcare teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care management within your area of expertise, ensuring continuity of clinical services during your assignment.
- Diagnose, treat and manage complex cases while maintaining the department's established clinical standards and protocols.
Required profile
- Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) as a qualified medical practitioner.
- Singapore citizenship or permanent residency with valid residency status.
- A current and valid SMC practising certificate permitting clinical practice in Singapore.
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
- Valid medical malpractice indemnity coverage.
- Professional reliability and clinical competency, and immediate availability to cover urgent staffing needs.
