Logistics Assistant

About the role

Toll Logistics is looking for a reliable and hardworking Logistics Assistant to support its daily warehouse and logistics operations. The role covers cargo handling, warehouse storage, container stuffing and unstuffing, and making sure all warehouse activities are done safely and in line with established procedures. Candidates with cleanroom experience will have an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and arrange warehouse cargo and materials.
• Stack and arrange goods on pallets according to storage plans, following height and special handling requirements.
• Perform container stuffing and unstuffing operations.
• Follow cargo and material-handling security procedures so goods are handled and stored safely.
• Run warehouse operations to 5S housekeeping standards, GMP requirements, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Check and validate warehouse documentation, and report discrepancies or non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Identify operational issues, equipment maintenance and repair needs, and report them promptly.
• Identify and escalate workplace safety risks, hazards and non-conformities, and report WSH incidents in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment and carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence is compulsory.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
• Comfortable with manual handling, loading and unloading of cargo.
• Able to follow warehouse procedures, safety requirements and instructions accurately.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Must be entitled to work in Singapore and ready for pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
