Logistics Assistant

About the role

Toll Group, a Japan Post group company with 16,000 team members and 500 sites across 27 markets, is hiring a Logistics Assistant. The role covers daily warehouse operations, inventory handling, system updates and documentation, and safe equipment use. Candidates who do not meet every requirement but have similar skills and are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and sort goods, load and unload shipments, receive incoming materials and verify quantities against delivery orders and system records
• Put away goods in designated storage locations, run cycle counts and stock-takes, and report discrepancies, damage or shortages
• Update WMS or SAP transactions (goods receipt, goods issue, bin transfers, stock adjustments) and maintain delivery orders, packing lists and receiving reports
• Follow workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements, and report unsafe conditions or incidents
• Operate basic warehouse equipment such as a hand pallet jack and forklift where applicable, keeping it safe and maintained
• Work with supervisors, the operations team and the inventory/admin team, escalating delays, shortages and damages
• Maintain 5S housekeeping in the assigned area and support productivity targets and process improvements

Required profile

• Entitlement to work in Singapore
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including a criminal history check and medical
• Similar skills and willingness to learn, even if past experience does not match perfectly
