Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution operations. The role focuses on optimizing processes, controlling inventory, and driving continuous improvement across the logistics function.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review warehouse and distribution activities, identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and increase effectiveness.
• Design and refine warehouse layout and material flow to support smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align inventory levels with business demand and conduct demand trend analysis.
• Lead periodic inventory checks and full stock‑count exercises to maintain high accuracy.
• Partner with suppliers and manufacturing teams to minimise material loss and maximise usage.
• Oversee manpower planning, employee development and performance reviews to build an engaged logistics workforce.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and change initiatives.
• Establish and maintain strong inventory controls to reduce discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of logistics/warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
