Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead daily transportation and fleet operations, ensuring goods are delivered efficiently, on time and within cost targets. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will coordinate dispatch, driver teams and client interactions across Singapore’s road freight network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily transportation schedules, routes and dispatch assignments.
• Monitor fleet utilization, driver performance and handle emergency logistics issues.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, fuel usage and coordinate repairs.
• Supervise drivers, dispatchers and logistics coordinators, conduct performance reviews and schedule training.
• Develop cost‑efficient routing strategies using GPS and tracking data.
• Liaise with customers, vendors and warehouses to resolve service issues and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, permits, insurance and driver licensing.
• Prepare logistics budgets, monitor operational costs and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Track KPIs, generate performance reports and recommend strategic improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation or Business Administration.
• 3–7+ years of experience in transportation, fleet or road freight operations.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
