Logistics Sourcing Manager (Asia)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Logistics Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing for logistics services across Asia, including warehousing, brokerage and domestic transportation. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Global Logistics Commodity Business Management and works within a matrixed, global team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity and supplier strategies for logistics services in the Asia region.
• Own the end‑to‑end sourcing process, including RFx planning, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Standardize SLA measurement, track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct cost‑model analysis, supplier capability assessments and tactical procurement (spot buys).
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, legal, finance and other functions to mitigate supply risk.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of progressive experience in logistics sourcing, supplier management or related supply‑chain roles.
• Proven experience with international and domestic transportation, warehousing and brokerage operations.
• Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred; familiarity with Coupa sourcing tool is a plus.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Experience using Coupa or similar sourcing optimization tools.
• Strong commercial negotiation and project‑management capabilities.
