Low-Code Quality Engineer (ServiceNow) - Test Automation

About the role

NCS, a technology services firm operating across the Asia Pacific region, is hiring a Quality Engineer (ServiceNow) in Singapore. You will design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS), Customer Service Management (CSM) and App Engine applications, working closely with development teams, business analysts and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable test automation frameworks for ServiceNow, using Playwright and other tools to cover end-to-end workflows, API integrations and App Engine apps
• Create automated test coverage for CSM modules (case management, knowledge base, citizen portals, omnichannel routing) and PSDS integration points
• Automate integration and API tests for CRM, telephony and monitoring integrations, REST/SOAP services, authentication and MID Server / Integration Hub workflows
• Implement performance and load testing for PSDS and CSM, simulating real-world customer service volumes
• Develop test strategies, plans and standards, and integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Produce test reports and metrics dashboards, conduct root cause analysis and work with developers to fix quality issues

Required profile

• At least 4 years of quality engineering and testing experience, with at least 2 years focused on test automation and frameworks; senior roles require at least 7 years and mentoring of juniors
• Experience implementing automated testing for enterprise applications, preferably with ServiceNow
• Agile and DevOps experience, with shift-left testing principles
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience, especially CSM configuration and App Engine development, and customer portal validation
• Knowledge of security testing, accessibility testing and customer service business processes

Required skills

• Playwright, Page Object Model, Data-Driven Testing, BDD; JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or Java
• ServiceNow platform, CSM, PSDS, App Engine, MID Server and Integration Hub
• API testing tools and REST/SOAP validation
• Performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerisation and cloud testing environments
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA or Application Developer) highly desirable
