M&A Attorney – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology, information and internet company on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing legal expertise for high‑impact mergers and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target entities and identify legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, securities regulations and compliance matters related to M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Maintain transaction documentation that meets legal standards and mitigates liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar association.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in M&A transactions.
• Experience with both domestic and cross‑border deals.
