Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will own the month‑end closing process for Singapore and Thailand, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will partner with commercial, operations and senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of month‑end closing for Singapore & Thailand, meeting agreed timelines.
• Prepare monthly Flash & Management Accounts in line with group reporting deadlines.
• Analyse performance versus budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting key variances and drivers.
• Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities to the Financial Controller, MD and stakeholders.
• Review sales reporting for accuracy and resolve material variances.
• Manage working capital and cash flow, including AR, AP, inventory, weekly cash‑flow forecasts and risk escalation.
• Own the budget and forecasting process, ensuring accurate TM1 submissions.
• Partner with commercial, operations and functional teams to support decision‑making.
• Manage CAPEX and fixed‑asset processes, including budgeting, forecasting and compliance.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, recharges and resolution of differences.
• Coordinate statutory and group audit requirements, ensuring timely completion.
• Leverage finance systems, Excel and analytical tools to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as requested by CFO/MD.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in month‑end closing and management accounting in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explain financial results clearly.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders across regions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
