About the role
The Management Accountant will oversee the full set of accounts for a petrochemical operation, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting. The role involves close interaction with the Chinese headquarters and requires strong analytical abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts, including sales, purchases, AR/AP entries and fixed‑asset accounting.
- Prepare month‑end journal entries, accruals and depreciation schedules.
- Perform cash balance reconciliations and account balance reviews.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and management reports.
- Assist with invoicing, debit/credit notes and reconciliation of AR/AP, including inter‑company transactions.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum five years of accounting experience in the petrochemical industry or relevant audit experience.
- Preferable experience at a Big Four audit firm.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
