Manager, Business Modelling & Strategy – Quick Commerce

About the role

Quick commerce is central to Delivery Hero’s growth strategy. The Manager, Business Modelling & Strategy will design and maintain the quantitative models that translate initiatives such as basket size, order frequency, cost per order and promotional spend into a unified financial narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial modelling, including projections, unit economics, ROI cases and scenario planning for new initiatives, store formats and commercial levers.
• Decompose business drivers, size each individually and integrate them into a single output model that automatically updates contribution, margin and growth metrics.
• Validate assumptions against real data, clearly flagging solid inputs versus educated guesses.
• Automate recurring analysis using advanced Excel, LLM‑based AI tools, scripting and low‑code solutions.
• Translate model outcomes into actionable recommendations for budgeting, resource allocation and OKR tracking.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, private equity, commercial finance or a modelling‑intensive role within a high‑growth business.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn vague questions into defensible, data‑driven answers.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting financial statements, country P&L’s and investment proposals.
• Judgement to know when an estimate is sufficient for decision‑making.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for building complex financial models and scenario analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with AI automation tools (LLM‑based scripting, low‑code platforms).
• SQL and/or Python programming (strong plus).
