Manager, Collections

About the role

A consumer financing client in Singapore is looking for a Manager, Collections to lead its end-to-end recoveries function. The organisation focuses on strong portfolio quality through responsible lending, operational excellence and customer-centric recovery practices, and offers a stable environment with long-term career prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delinquent accounts and recovery strategies across various arrears stages
• Negotiate repayment plans, settlements and restructuring arrangements
• Manage external recovery agents, lawyers and other service providers
• Lead and develop a team of collection officers
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare management reports
• Ensure all collection and recovery activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies

Required profile

• At least 5 years of collections or recoveries experience, including 2 years of team management experience
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• Comfortable working with data, reporting and collections systems
