Manager, Course Approval (Engagement)

About the role

The Manager, Course Approval (Engagement) within the Quality Management Division ensures that courses accredited in the Training Grant System meet high quality and compliance standards. This role supports Singapore’s Continuing Education and Training ecosystem by overseeing accreditation, quality checks, stakeholder engagement, and system improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out course accreditation and approval activities in the Training Grant System.
• Conduct quality checks of course materials against adult learning principles and SSG funding requirements.
• Handle escalated enquiries and appeals, investigating non‑compliance with SSG terms.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies to build strong relationships with training partners, government agencies, and industry bodies.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Support system testing and implement enhancements to improve TGS functionality.
• Contribute to divisional projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Continuing Education and Training.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience or appreciation of adult education in Singapore is preferred.
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) preferred.
• Analytical ability to investigate and evaluate complaints, feedback, and whistleblowing cases.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in data handling.
