Manager, Design and Feasibility

About the role

The Manager, Design and Feasibility will support the Design & Technical Services team in evaluating new hotel development opportunities for luxury brands such as Capella and Patina. Based in Singapore, the role reports to the Senior Vice President of Design & Technical Services and is accountable to the Chief Development Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Review development drawings and reports for new hotel, resort and branded residence projects.
• Conduct preliminary feasibility studies, analysing market demand, competitive supply and destination potential.
• Research tourism, demographic, economic, hospitality, wellness and luxury travel trends.
• Collaborate with Operations, Brand and Sales teams to generate guest‑experience, programming, F&B and placemaking concepts.
• Prepare project narratives, development briefs, owner presentations and strategic reports aligned with brand fit and concept strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Hospitality or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in hotel development, hospitality consulting or real‑estate advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and within fast‑paced teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Interpretation of construction documents and strong eye for design and space planning.
• Proficiency with design and project‑management tools.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint presentation development.
• Competent use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
