Manager - FP&A (Costing)

About the role

A leading Singapore healthcare institution is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager, FP&A to support strategic financial planning, costing initiatives and business partnering across the hospital. Reporting to the Finance leadership team, the role covers costing, pricing, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for healthcare services, programmes and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate costing exercises and financial submissions in line with healthcare funding and reporting requirements.
• Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to give financial insight and support strategic decisions.
• Perform costing, pricing, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for healthcare services, programmes and initiatives.
• Evaluate the financial viability of capital expenditure requests, business cases and strategic projects.
• Analyse cost drivers, utilisation trends and operational performance to find improvement opportunities.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on system implementations, enhancements, testing and continuous improvement.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis, management reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business partnering, management reporting, costing or commercial finance.
• Proactive approach able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse business functions.
• Advantageous: SAP, costing methodologies, pricing analysis or large dataset management.
