Manager, Franchise Network Standards

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager for Franchise Network Standards to join its Asia‑Pacific Franchise team in Singapore. Reporting to the Vice President, Franchise Network Standards Lead for APAC, the role will help shape and enforce the rules that keep Mastercard’s payment network secure, consistent, and trustworthy as it expands into new business models.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain global network standards that ensure secure and compliant operations across multiple markets.
• Translate Mastercard’s network principles into actionable guidelines for partners and internal teams.
• Facilitate the scalable growth of emerging business models while preserving franchise integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align standards with regulatory requirements and market needs.
• Monitor implementation of standards and drive continuous improvement across the network.

Required profile

• Proven experience in defining and maintaining global standards for network or payment operations.
• Strong understanding of compliance, security, and governance in a financial services context.
• Ability to work effectively with partners, regulators, and internal teams across diverse markets.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to convey complex standards clearly.
