About the role

A leading global insurer, recruited through Gravitas Recruitment Group, is looking for a Life Actuarial professional to join as Manager, Modelling Actuary in Singapore. The role centres on actuarial modelling, model governance and supporting actuarial teams.

Key responsibilities

Develop actuarial models in line with model risk policies and controls
Review and challenge model methodologies, assumptions, outputs and associated risks
Provide modelling support and subject-matter expertise to actuarial teams
Drive efficiency improvements across models, tools and processes
Support model governance, including documentation, monitoring and issue remediation

Required profile

Qualified or close-to-qualified actuary with membership of a recognised actuarial body
Strong actuarial experience, ideally including hands-on modelling and stochastic valuation
Prophet experience
Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain complex concepts to varied stakeholders
