Manager - Operations (PB Documentation)

About the role

The Manager – Operations (PB Documentation) will oversee the preparation, review and administration of security documentation for private banking clients at HL Bank Singapore. This role ensures that all credit facilities and collateral are properly documented, compliant and efficiently processed.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft Letters of Offer, supplementary letters and security documents, ensuring alignment with approved terms for private banking transactions.
• Verify that all pre‑disbursement conditions are satisfied before activating credit facilities.
• Coordinate with valuers, solicitors and external parties to perfect, register and discharge security for local and overseas properties and other collaterals.
• Manage collateral documentation related to life, fire and credit insurance policies, including assignments and releases.
• Track ageing of facility and security documents, ensuring safe‑keeping and proper execution.
• Prepare monthly Credit Committee packs, review regulatory reports and monitor margin calls, excess collateral shortfalls and credit exceptions.
• Support internal and external audits, update SOPs and conduct annual reviews of external legal, valuation and insurance partners.
• Lead departmental projects to improve operational efficiency, compliance controls and system enhancements, including UAT testing.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in assets transfer, mortgage financing, structured financing or corporate banking financing.
• Proven ability to liaise with external parties such as valuers, solicitors and insurance agents.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk control.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and managing ad‑hoc assignments.
