Manager, Process Improvement and End User Automation

About the role

The Process Improvement and End User Automation Manager drives business productivity, operational efficiency and data-driven decisions through automation, analytics and process optimisation. The role leads the design, development and deployment of end-user automation solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps), Agentic AI and other low-code/no-code platforms, partnering with business stakeholders to streamline processes and reduce operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Data analytics and business intelligence: build automated data preparation, cleansing, transformation and validation workflows with Alteryx, and dashboards and reports with Power BI
• Process automation: design and maintain workflows with Power Automate, Power Apps and Alteryx, and evaluate automation opportunities across finance, operations, HR, customer service and corporate functions
• Process excellence: lead improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement, including process mapping, root cause analysis and KPIs
• Agentic AI: evaluate, pilot and deploy Agentic AI solutions in Finance VSS functions, following governance, controls and ethical-use guidelines
• Stakeholder management: manage demand intake, prioritisation and delivery pipelines, and present progress and value realisation to management
• Governance, risk and controls: comply with governance standards, security and regulatory requirements, and maintain documentation and audit trails
• Capability development: lead and coach a team of automation developers, analysts and citizen developers, and support communities of practice for Power Platform, Alteryx and AI

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or ACCA equivalent; Master's degree is an advantage
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, automation, process improvement or digital transformation
• Proven experience delivering automation solutions with Power Platform, Alteryx or similar, and implementing process improvements with measurable outcomes
• Experience with business stakeholders across multiple functions; finance transformation, shared services, insurance, banking, healthcare or large enterprise experience preferred
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Microsoft Power Platform or Power BI certifications, PMP/PRINCE2/Agile, and AI-related certifications
