Manager / Senior Manager – Strategic Projects (Urban Planning)

About the role

The Manager/Senior Manager will lead end‑to‑end project management for an urban planning and governance advisory initiative in India. Working closely with government agencies, NGOs, technical experts and private sector partners in both Singapore and India, the role ensures timely delivery of project outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee the implementation of the urban planning advisory project, managing budgets, timelines and risks.
• Engage with consultants, government counterparts and other stakeholders to align expectations and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports and presentations, and ensure successful delivery of outcomes.
• Design and manage capacity‑building programmes, defining scope, curriculum and logistics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, and translate insights into downstream projects.
• Support the Strategic Projects team in developing partnerships and advisory programs.

Required profile

• Proven track record in project management within the government or public sector.
• Experience designing and delivering capacity‑building or advisory programmes.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s urban and economic development journey.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across countries.
• Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities in other markets or thematic areas.
