Manager, Student Community Engagement

About the role

The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) at NTU seeks a dynamic Manager to lead the university‑wide Community Collaboration (CoLab) Campaign Series. This role will shape student engagement across arts, sports, residential life, leadership and academic clubs, driving vibrant campus life and measurable learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 60+ community and interest‑based student clubs, overseeing year‑round planning and activity delivery.
• Operationalise the NTU Community Engagement Framework to achieve defined outcomes and ensure programmes stay on schedule and within budget.
• Mentor and develop student leaders, building their competencies and governance capabilities.
• Design, implement and continuously refine CoLab Campaign themes, participation strategies, success metrics and governance structures.
• Lead stakeholder partnerships with internal units, external agencies such as the People’s Association, grassroots leaders and community organisations.
• Establish capacity‑building programmes for clubs, focusing on leadership development and community impact design.
• Oversee governance, compliance and impact reporting for all community programmes and associated funding.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing student clubs or similar community‑based organisations.
• Strong ability to mentor student leaders and guide their development.
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and partnership management.
• Experience designing and executing large‑scale engagement campaigns within an academic setting.
