Managing Consultant - Technology Strategy & Cloud Advisory

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Managing Consultant with about 5-8 years of consulting experience in IT strategy and advisory, with a strong focus on cloud strategy, data transformation and AI-driven business solutions. The role combines strategic consulting, technology expertise, financial acumen and pre-sales experience to help clients define, shape and execute their digital transformation agendas. Candidates should ideally have experience in top-tier technology or management consulting firms such as Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, KPMG, EY or similar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver consulting engagements on IT strategy, cloud strategy and enterprise technology transformation, including data modernization and AI/ML adoption, and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Develop client deliverables such as business cases, TCO/ROI analyses, operating models, transformation roadmaps and executive presentations.
• Assess clients' current IT and cloud landscapes and define future-state architectures across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Advise on cloud adoption models, platform selection, governance frameworks and cost optimization, and work with technical and delivery teams on solution design.
• Lead business case development, including TCO analysis, ROI modeling and benefits realization tracking, and support executive decisions on technology investments.
• Contribute to pre-sales: respond to RFPs/RFIs, run client workshops, estimate effort, price solutions and present to clients.
• Support practice and capability development, build thought leadership and reusable assets, and mentor junior consultants.

Required profile

• Strong experience in technology consulting, with emphasis on IT strategy/advisory and cloud strategy.
• Proven experience developing business cases and TCO analyses for large-scale initiatives.
• Hands-on pre-sales and business development experience.
• Experience in agile delivery environments and ability to manage and influence cross-functional and global teams.

Required skills

• Certifications in AWS, Azure or GCP preferred.
