About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Applied Materials, you will develop and maintain methods, operating sequences, and processes for the fabrication of semiconductor parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies. You will work closely with other engineering functions to bring product improvements and new products to market while applying lean principles and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub‑assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Coordinate with other engineering functions to release product improvements and new products.
- Apply DFx principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality.
- Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–2 years of semiconductor or related industry experience.
- General knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
Required skills
- Lean principles.
- Automation.
- Test procedures and evaluation of test results.
