Manufacturing Production Control Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Production Control Engineer to develop and maintain methods, operating sequences, and processes for semiconductor and display fabrication. The role works closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to release product improvements, estimate costs, improve quality, and define tooling and process requirements. You will apply lean principles, automation and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Meet move, output, cycle time and CLIP targets while updating daily fab performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams daily to ensure customer delivery and address line bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain master production schedules aligned with capacity and resources.
• Track fab KPIs, analyze production data and report schedule performance to management.
• Lead continuous improvement projects on CLIP performance, RTD and line automation.

Required profile

• Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication operations and RTD software preferred.
• Understanding of how related teams coordinate efforts to achieve objectives.
• Ability to lead a team, allocate work and provide guidance to junior members.
• Strong problem‑solving judgment to address novel issues.
• Effective interpersonal skills for exchanging ideas and building consensus.
