Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Assembly

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and ensuring parts are available and defect‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and inspect for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, enter data on progress, labor and expenses, and perform software installs when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
