Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Assembly & Testing

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure high‑quality semiconductor and display products.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics and parts lists.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under supervision.
• Conduct audits to verify part availability, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, record labor details and perform computer programming, repairs or software installations as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, technical diploma, certificate or equivalent.
• Basic analytical or scientific method skills and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding cleanroom environment.
