Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom (Singapore)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, testing and repairing high‑value display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. You will support the production of cutting‑edge semiconductor and display technologies used in AI, IoT and consumer devices.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot and repair electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic sub‑assemblies using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform functional testing with test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Document work performed, record test results and ensure parts are inspected for defects.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant cleanroom workspace and follow all health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Identify process improvements and assist with software installations to enhance equipment performance.

Required profile

• Technical background or experience in electro‑mechanical assembly and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety in a cleanroom setting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
