Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician supports production during facility startup, equipment commissioning, qualification, and routine manufacturing. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Technical Services, the role ensures activities are safe, efficient, and compliant with cGMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with equipment setup, operational checks, trial runs, engineering runs, and qualification batches.
• Perform manufacturing tasks according to SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Operate production equipment, conduct line clearances, material loading, equipment cleaning, and changeovers.
• Monitor process parameters, record manufacturing data, and report abnormalities.
• Complete GMP documentation, batch records, logbooks, and electronic forms accurately.
• Support process validation activities, including validation batches and verification runs.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance, process flow, and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S and Lean Manufacturing.
