Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves assembling electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults and correct errors.
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a clean, secure work environment.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify functionality.
• Enter progress, expense and labor data into the computer system.
• Conduct parts audits, inspect for defects and ensure required components are available.
• Perform computer programming, software installation or repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot processes and suggest improvements.

• Analytical mindset with ability to apply scientific methods to routine tasks.
• Understanding of how the manufacturing team integrates with other functions.
• No supervisory responsibilities; works independently.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems without supervision.
