Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. The role involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and ensuring parts are available and defect‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, audit inventory, inspect for defects and improve processes.
• Operate test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Complete job documentation, data entry and, when needed, computer programming, repairs or software installations.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate’s degree or technical certifications (preferred).
• Willingness to expand skills using analytical or scientific methods (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities (preferred).
