Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a clean‑room environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment that powers today’s semiconductor and advanced‑display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits to verify availability and inspect for defects, and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Document progress, labor and expense details and, when required, execute computer programming, software installs or repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1–2 years of experience in the semiconductor, display or related manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety practices.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Use of test fixtures, electronic measurement devices, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Repair of electrical and pneumatic components.
• Computer programming basics and software installation.
• Operation of hand and power tools, including forklifts.
