Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a clean‑room environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics and parts lists to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Utilise test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, record labor details and, when required, perform computer programming, repairs or software installations.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum).
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate’s degree or technical training preferred, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
