Manufacturing Technician – Night Shift (4pm‑1:30am)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position runs the 4 pm to 1:30 am shift and supports the development of advanced semiconductor and display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults, identify errors and carry out corrective actions.
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Enter progress, expense and labor data into computer systems and document completed work.
• Conduct parts audits, inspect for defects and ensure availability of required components.

Required profile

• Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting and work in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom wearing PPE such as coveralls, booties, safety glasses and respirators.
• Adherence to safety standards, participation in health‑and‑safety training and prompt reporting of hazards.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Operation of test fixtures, electronic measurement devices, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Basic computer programming, software installation and repair.
• Use of hand and power tools; forklift operation for heavy‑machinery handling.
